just to share actually...this is about our visit to the Telibong WTP that was held on last Tuesday..
before the visit: definitely didnt care at all about this signboard...well it commonly seen every time we pass a river....
before the visit: definitely didnt care at all about how many amount of water that i waste
before the visit: definitely didnt understand the use of jabatan air other than distributing the water...
so what is the WTP, it stand for the Water Treatment Plant...but again dont misunderstand it, as it not function like the Indah water k...
it treat the water from the river by 1st pump it into the plant,put in the chlorine, hydrated lime( to increase the water PH, aluminium sulphate (for the sediment) , filter and last distribution it....(korang tahu semua ni??...ak pun baru tahu)..
could u imagine, what would be happen to our source of the water if the main water supply especially the river have been damaged or polluted...u would say that, yeah....i already know about it.....it boring or what so ever...through this visit, it kinda open my eyes that this water plant was operated base on the condition of the water itself..if the water from the river have been polluted with high sedimentation rate ( becoz of our attitude) the water plant will be close...and no more water could be treated, and home many houses wouldnt have the water supply...see...so let us again support this slogan...'Cintailah Sungai Kita' let us not pollute it, as it actually what our source of life...

this water not yet filter....it in the phase where the aluminium sulphate was put inside the water, and help the sediment to going down..(seriously, it like a swimming pool isnt it?..haha)

the Tuaran River, where the water supply was taken, it usually cover for the people up to indah permai....while for the Kota Kinabalu, it usually covered by Moyog WTP
us full with curiosity..
and after all, the 3 hours journey from Kudat to Telibong have been given us a chance to have our lunch in 1 Borneo..(haha, like a jakun people step in 1B)
